2) What are keyword volumes and why are they different to Google Keyword Tool?
a) The volume is what Google is returning from Google suggests as number of queries. It is current data because it varies during the month due to popularity and trends.
Google keyword tool is historical data and MUST by definition be under reality as advertising budgets are based on it.
The Google Keyword tool will not report all searches though – and you will get a lot more keywords using suggests – and this is where its quite powerful – because you will only get keywords that people are ‘actually searching for’
b) If you want to double check volumes – copy the keywords to your clipboard and paste into the box into Google Keyword Tool. Takes 2 seconds.
c) Paul Clifford will do an update for regions as obviously people in France will get different results and so on.
3）Why should I buy this tool if I can just use Adwords keyword tool to find longtail keywords, aren’t you just pulling the data from Google.
And if one’s niche or products aren’t related to Amazon or sold on Amazon then one doesn’t need this tool correct.
a）The long tail words are coming direct from Google / Amazon Suggests. The volume is the value that Google calls ‘number of queries’ – however it fluctuates during the month because its realtime current data.
Google keyword tool is historical data and by definition must be accurate and also is often under that actual – as thats what people base advertising spend on – and they do not want to be seen as inaccurate of course.
So thats difference and they will always be different due to the different sources of data.
So KwXP is very useful for finding words quickly (querying adwords db is slow and cumbersome) and will generally pick up words that might show little or no traffic – but by definition people are searching on them.. otherwise they would not be there.

1) I bought this WSO last week and have really been having a blast with it. I already have a site that has been set up for a while so kind of know where there is room to get posts up that will rank well from keeping a file on keyphrases as I do my research. After inputting some of my keyphrases into the software I am happy to say that it pulls up even more that I can use on my site once I drill down a bit.
Not only is this working out as far as coming up with some post ideas, but I am also using it to fill in the content with some LSI keyphrases to give my post a little more juice. Eventually I will get more traffic and keep in good standing with G. I do my due diligence as far as doing some extra research with other software I have as far as searches or competition. But since this pulls from Google Suggest it can really give you a leg up on any of the latest searches people are performing. Tie these in with other related keywords and you can certainly have some winners on your hands.
If you are into Youtube you can also do a quick optimized video and probably get some good rankings as no one else with be as quick on the draw as you are. Do a few social postings and you could wind up with a nice array of listings on page one with not a whole lot of competition.

2) Did a very quick search on one keyword only. was amazed to see that adding the word pdf to the end of my keyphrase showed search volume of 51,900 with title competition of 33 and url competition of only 6. There were several other gold nuggets in there as well.

3) This is a fantastic little tool. Don’t let the low price fool you; this ROCKS. The first time I used it I picked up a long tail keyword with 394,000 searches and only a handful of competition. I put an article together and used another tool called rapid indexer and was on page 1 #3 before I got done bookmarking the article. Very cool!! I’ve got a lot of other keyword tools, but this one just replaced them all and saved me a bundle in monthly fees.

4) Simple, fast and clean, and as it happened cheap. I came home briefly read an email, and within a minute had bought KeywordXP. Now that does not give all you marketer’s open slather to bombard me with a product! In fact, I am a very conservative purchaser, and this product seemed a no brainer. I like the product a lot, and although there are lots of other tools, this to me is a winner.
